Lots of people are going green these days – there are even green electric companies in texas and all over country. As our country continues to awaken to the prospects of alternative and renewable energy we are faced with the inescapable truth that our planet is running out of all the consumable resources we rely upon every day. Cars are being built smarter with alternative fuel supplies, companies are doing everything they can to reduce their carbon footprints and even houses are starting to be constructed with a greener agenda in mind.

It has gotten to a point where construction of homes relies heavily on certain materials that allow for renewable energy applications. For example – let’s talk about solar energy, both passive and active. Some homes come equipped with special glass (think like a greenhouse) and construction materials in the walls to not only absorb the sun’s heat but redistribute it throughout the home as a kind of heating. And solar cells and panels are being implemented to great effect as they capture and focus solar radiation directly toward heating water and air.

While we still have a long way to go before methods like these become the standard, we are well on our way. Green homes like this can not only help save the environment, they can also help homeowners save money and that’s something I think we can all definitely appreciate.

It is hard to imagine what life would be life without computers, television, ipods and the internet. Those things do make life more convenient, but many people are wondering, can modern society function without technology? The answer to that question is no, modern society cannot function without technology. If that question would have been asked about 30 years ago, the answer could have been yes. Today, it is impossible to function in society without technology.

Two decades ago, computers were considered a luxury, but today we need them for work and for school. In fact, it is impossible to survive in today’s society unless one is computer literate. Even the lowest-level jobs, such as being a fast-food worker require that a person know how to use the computer. A couple of years ago, internet was considered a luxury, but today it is something that we cannot do without. The internet allows people to conveniently work and get information. It also makes it possible for busy people to earn a degree.

There are many developing cultures that would say that it is very possible to live without technology today. However, technology is needed to get things done faster and more efficiently.Want to know more? Go ahead: Coercion?

Social networking is changing the way that people use consumer electronics. Consumer electronics such as mobile phones used to be used for one thing only which was making phone calls. Now they are used for so much more. Social networking allows celebrities and musicians to keep in touch with fans, friends, and agents while on the go. Because of social networking these people can text in important information on concert dates, new movies, television premiers, and things of that nature in a few seconds of time. Thousands of interested people will be notified of such events. So in a way social networking has made consumer electronics more powerful and twice as useful.

Consumer electronics can now be used as marketing tools also. More companies are beginning to turn to social networking and use cellular devices as a way to get the word out to potential and existing customers. Mass texts can be sent out using social networks and these texts can have information on upcoming sales and new products. This way is much more effective than the old fashioned way of e-mail marketing because it is instant and personal. More people respond to text messages than e-mails because they are on the go and usually have their mobile phones with them.

The list of people waiting for organ transplants may get shorter in the near future. Scientists have discovered a way to regenerate tissue to grow new organs. Scientists have been able to grow new hearts and bladders, and proclaim that most organs can be gown outside the body. Smaller organs, such as nerves, are more complex and are not able to be grown outside the body at this time.

There has been a lot of controversy over stem cell research, but scientists believe that growing organs from the recipient is less likely to cause controversy.Confused? Here ‘s a little help . The recipient is also less likely to reject the organ since the organ is being grown from the recipient-s tissue. Scientists say that it take six weeks to grow a new grow organ in a lab. The most important part of growing organs outside the body, is keeping the cells alive. This can be difficult, because the cells of different organs each require a different environment to survive. When the cells are stable enough to survive, scientists begin the process of growing new organs. Scientists grow new organs by using collagen and ink jet printers. Scientists say the concept of growing organs is fascinating and that more research will be done, so that growing organs can be used more in modern medicine.

We have all seen the foresight of the future through the imagination of writers and scientists. Some of these predictions have come to fruition; some close to it, and others are still waiting for inception through the right technology. The electric car is one of these latest inventions that is still waiting for perfection.

Without a doubt, the gas-powered car is dominating the electric car in today-s free market. Some gas-powered automobiles offer good mileage per gallon. Electric car-s offer good mileage as well, but what they lack against a gas-powered car is size. Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV) are still outselling most vehicles, including electric cars. Another thing that concerns consumers is reliability. They wonder if an electric car can be relied on as much as a gas-powered car. Plus, some reports on electric cars have them catching on fire. This is not good for the electric car market.

It does not matter why people choose to buy an electric car”save money, help environment”if the electric car is to survive in a gas-powered world, it needs to show itself to the consumer that it is just as reliable, affordable, and durable as any gas-powered automobile; otherwise its future is doomed.
